Description:
A vintage PH5 hanging lamp designed by Poul Henningsen. Original white finish. Multiple vintage PH5 lamps available. Bulb (not included): 200W/120V A23 incandescent.
We also have available the 4/3 model (see second photo below), which is a slightly smaller size, priced at $650 each.
Designed to hang low above a table. Features a glare free light with 3 white shades and a cone mounted on 3 purple legs; 2 smaller colored shades enhance the part of the spectrum of light least sensitive to the eye. Red-painted inside of cone creates a warm tone of light.
The PH 5 provides a glare free illumination. The design of the visible reflectors ensures that light is directed both vertically and horizontally. Light is diffused through a sand-blasted glass shield located in the lower shade.
The pendant is designed to hang low above a table while at the same time giving a moderate light to the surroundings.
